Meet Bobby
Robert J Burke Jr is known as Bob or Bobby to family, friends and clients. With over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, Bobby is committed to helping clients find a clear path to financial success and has been recognized for his commitment to exceeding professional standards in the financial services industry. Bobby holds series 7 and 63 licenses as well as life and health insurance licenses.
In addition to his role as a financial advisor, Bobby is a devoted husband and dad. Bobby and his wife Drew live in Nashville TN where they enjoy spending time giving back to the community. Together Bobby and Drew are focused on church ministries that help children as well as making a positive impact in their community by partnering with local nonprofits. You can often find Bobby on the sidelines of a basketball court or football field rooting for one of his six wonderful children, Bella, “Trip”, Gracie, Andi, Ries and Cy. In the free time that Bobby does have he enjoys spending time traveling, weight lifting and kickboxing.
Amanda McIntosh has worked as the operations manager for Bob Burke Financial Services since 2008. She excels at promptly preparing and processing all client documents and interfaces with our back office to maximize efficiencies. Our clients frequently comment about Amanda's exceptional client service and support and her friendly demeanor.
A note from Bobby – “I graduated with an English Literature degree not a degree in financial services or finance. I have always excelled at communicating complex ideas well, and I think this is largely what drew me to the world of investment services, along with a desire to help.
A great financial planner, by nature, is part investment professional and part counselor. The part of my job that I find most gratifying, by far, is developing deep relationships with my clients and gaining a real understanding of who they are and what they are trying to accomplish.
